The field held an incredibly high level and a good rider such as Tyler McCaul didn’t even reach the final. The young Swedish star, Martin Söderström, qualified for the final as the best rider. But, in the final Trond nailed the best tricks and secured the highest score of the evening with a super technical and stylish run. A 360 on the first jump, followed by an invert one-foot 360 on the next. A tire-grab on the third jump made way for an inverted 360 on the last jump! “The last two hours went just perfect, being qualified for the Nissan Qashqai Challenge competition feels just great!” beamed Trond after the award ceremony.

Trond Hansen has got a killer start to the season and nailed his first win already in February. With his win in Milano he is certainly back as one of the best dirt jump/slopestyle riders in the world!
